A NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
    Back in 2004 I designed the guitar to
    the right by digitally painting on my
    computer.  No photography was used,  
    and I painstakingly painted it with the
    mouse.  By 2006, I ran into the word
    "guitarfish" in the dictionary,  and
    decided to do some experimenting .  
    After laboriously altering the image,  I
    had created my version of a cartoon
    guitarfish.  The rest of the story
    unfolded from there.
